The plumber has been here since 9:30am, it's 3:30pm now. I always believe too thoroughly in the theater of the garbage disposal. And the child has gotten sick on the last day of Christmas vacation, making it…not the last day. I’m pretending that the blockage in the pipes is also every other kind of blockage (energetic, psychic, sexual, narrative) to make this all more gripping. How exciting the release will be! Otherwise the reward is just getting to finally do all the dishes.
